The “Mostly” wine line from the Israeli Tulip Winery is a modern collection of different blends. The dominant grape variety used ultimately gives the wine its name. All wines in this series are aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
The dense chestnut brown of the Tulip Mostly Cabernet Franc has pomegranate-colored reflections at the edge. The wine is full-bodied with an almost celebratory scent of violet flowers, grass, green pepper, ripe red and dark fruits and traces of roasted wood.
The taste is robust, round and fruity at the same time. Subtle yet piquant tannins lead to a lively and long finish.

Mostly is an up-to-date collection of blends, where the dominant variety gives the wine its name. These wines are aged for 12 months in French/American oak barrels. The grapes went through alcoholic fermentation for some two weeks and rested atop the grape skins for an additional number of days.
The grapes were only lightly pressed before being transferred to barrels for aging. The Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes were fermented and aged in separate barrels. After a period of six months in the barrels, during which the wines' flavors stabilized, the final blend was determined in order to receive complexity and harmony. After creating the final blend, the wine was returned to the barrels to age for an additional nine months.
This wine has a very deep maroon red color and pomegranate edges. The wine is full-bodied with a festive aroma of purple flowers, grass, green pepper, ripe red and black fruit and a bit of toasted wood. Its flavor is at once robust and round, invigorating and fruity. The tannins are gentle and piquant, with a long finish that is full of life.
