The Golan Merlot shows strong cherry notes, rounded off with traces of spices and fresh herbs. Its pleasant fruitiness and medium-bodied body make it exceptionally drinkable. Golan Merlot can be enjoyed now, but can also continue to mature for 3-5 years after harvest. We enjoy Golan Merlot with a variety of dishes, such as homemade pizza (try this with a pinch of flour on the edge) or pasta with a rich tomato-based sauce (try this with sliced Portuguese anchovies).
