In 2010 we picked Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Syrah grapes grown on basalt soil from select vineyards in the upper and eastern Galilee. The wines are made individually, and then transferred to French and American oak barrels for 12 months in order to give them additional complexity, resulting in a finished product that combines the unique characteristics of the two grapes. The wine is a deep purple color, full bodied with balanced acidity leading to a juicy and pleasant taste. It boasts black cherry and rich raspberry flavors which complement the barrel's flavors of vanilla and coffee.
