This year Galilo is a cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) from the Elkosh vineyard, Shiraz (40%), also from the Elkosh vineyard, and Grenache Noir (10%) from nearby Even-Menachem. The Elkosh vineyard is the winery's premium vineyard. Matured in oak barrels for 20 months.
Galilo is at the same time impressive and reserved, very elegant on the palate. It shines with notes of cassis, anise, cherry jam and dark chocolate. It finishes long and warm with vanilla.

This year the wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) from Elkosh Vineyard, Shiraz (40%) also from Elkosh and Grenache Noir (10%) from nearby Even-Menachem. The Elkosh Vineyard is Dalton's premium site in the Western Galilee. The wine is mellowed for 20 months in the finest oak barrels.
Galilo is impressive and restrained, soft and elegant on the palate. The nose is expressive with cassis, anise, cherry jam and dark chocolate. The palate is long and giving is a warm vanilla finish.
