Full-bodied, with strong tannins that can still age. It matures for 18 months in oak barrels with generous but gentle and spicy cedar notes, which are accompanied by hints of tantalizing dark chocolate and cigar tobacco, which in turn are based on red fruits and currants. A blend of 74% Syrah, 13% Grenache and 13% Mourvedre, with an appealing, bitter, slightly herbal long and strong finish.

This version of Syrah, “with a little help from my friends”,
namely Grenache and Mourvedre… This ensemble plays
so well together... As of the 2014 vintage 2 new instruments
join: Cinsault and Counoise. Happy music indeed!
